Bad Kurn, I tapped on the glass
So on my way back from NYC last week, I make a brief stop at Foxwoods to unwind from my Millionaire tryout.
$65 + 15 Single table SNG. 10 started, we're down to 6. Fish in this case is in seat 1, wearing shades, trying to look all serious and coming off as a total tool, but nothing could have prepared me for the idiocy to come. BB in seat 5 is short stacked with 600. Prior to the last hand he said "they're all going in, this hand or the next." After looking at his cards, he said "I guess its the next." Now, as the dealer shuffles, BB says, "I'm putting them all-in blind when it comes around to me." Dealer warns him not to influence the action and deals. BB does not touch his cards. I fold, seat 9 folds, now Mr. Shades in the 1 seat calls (??), seat 2 (seems competent) calls and I get something from his body language that makes me think he's trapping the 1 seat for after the BB raises. The 1 seat is looking over his right shoulder, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't pick up on this. SB folds, and BB, who true to his word hasn't even touched his cards, puts his remaining 400 chips in the pot. Now seat 1, still trying to look all stern and coold, slowly looks at his cards again - AND FOLDS!! The look on the 2 seat's face is priceless - mouth open, staring in disbelief. BB puts his head on the rail and tries not to laugh out loud, and I just crack up. So bad I have to stand up and walk away from the table. Funny thing is, the tool probably thinks he was smart. BB turned up ATs, but lost to seat 2's AQo anyway. Every time you think you've seen it all.....

That's great.
Did he have headphones on? Maybe he didn't hear any of the pre-preflop action. |

He might have. I can't remember. Headphones are allowed in the new poker room at FW, unlike before. Still no excuse not seeing the guy didn't even come close to touching his cards.
