League Event #20 - Change date?

Here are the six tourneys we have left for the TPF League II:
Event #15 - Wednesday, 6/21/06
Event #16 - Saturday, 6/24/06
Event #17 - Tuesday, 6/27/06
Event #18 - Sunday, 7/2/06
Event #19 - Wednesday, 7/5/06
Event #20 - Saturday, 7/8/06
Event #21* - Wednesday, 7/12/06

*Event #21 is the TOC.

So far, our turnouts for the Saturday events have been by far the worst (just 5, 5, and 8 players). Since it's looking like the final event could very well be an important factor in the standings, I think we should move it back one day to Sunday, 7/9/06.

Let's have a vote. Results will be public, since obviously non-league members votes shouldn't count.

It actually makes no difference to me as I'll be able to play either night but I do agree that Saturday games have been a lousy turnout. So my vote goes for Sunday!

I can play on either of those days. Wow, I'm actually surprised that I wasn't scheduled for a late shift either of those days at work. But I do prefer a bigger turnout, so I'll vote for Sunday as well.

You're definitely losing this vote, currently 8-1.

Any reasons behind preferring Saturday, which will undoubtedly have a smaller turnout? The more people playing in the final event, the more points will be up for grabs, the more spots will earn points, the more the standings will change, the more chance that ANYONE will be able to earn their way into the TOC.

yes, its easier for me to play on a saturday, thats about it. Not trying to be sneaky, and i knew my vote wouldnt change anything

With a damn near unanimous vote so far, consider this changed. I'll update the League Thread, the Calendar, and Stars. Feel free to continue voting, for those how haven't yet, but it doesn't look like this could possibly come out close.
