Pacific SNGs -- happy hunting grounds
I love playing $2 and $8 20 person SNGs on Pacific. In fact, I've played about 15 of them in the past two days:
$8 + $.80 results (out of 20): 1st ($56) 2nd ($40) 8th 4th ($24) 14th 3rd ($32) 2nd ($40) Net: $2 + $.20 results (out of 20): 4th ($6) 17th 10th 6th 1st ($14) 1st ($14) 9th 17th After actually typing up the results, I think I'll stick to the $8 SNGs. Anyone else who plays fairly low limits should definitely try these SNGs. Would anyone else care to share any juicy tourneys, SNGs or ring games? I might be interested in moving up in limits if anyone has had success in a particular game. Thanks in advance. Last edited by sjay2k; 12-03-04 at 11:12 PM. |

the 2/4 and 3/6 Omaha 8 ring games at pacific are easy. When you have the lo and a good high hand you got people who will bet and raise with just the lo and you can win 3/4 of the pot which is cool. Also about 70% of the people see the flop and about 90% of that 70% always find something they like on the flop to stay to the river.

the party sng's are pretty much just as juicy. especially at the lower buy ins, the 5+1 and the 10+1, it is essentially a game of patience. you can literally fold your way into the money very often. i would reccomend the 10+1s, just because the juice is so much less.

I havent played anything but low limit ring games (holdem) at pacific, but I'm starting to have a little success in SnGs, so I'll give a few a shot.
