Top Ten
Thats not the top ten list, that is the top posters to the forum. The top ten should be people who post some good content, and inspire conversations.

I don't think the software is capable of figuring tht out
I COULD, however, turn on a feature that is currently off: User Reputations. This allows posters to rate other posters. It's actualy driven by an interesting formula... the higher your reputation, the more weight your rating has on others. |

I like I like it alot, as long as false accounts are not setup to mark down people's thread becasue of prior disagreements.

I can track users by IP address.... anyone who tries to pull shit like that around here will be GONE.

And when they use proxies?
Oh it doesn't matter anyway; a lot of people don't know what they are anyway, but they pretty much allow me to continue to post even if you ban me ip... |

Interesting feature -- why not?
I could see value in this. The sheer number of posts certainly doesn't correlate to quality. But a number of members are cranking out thoughtful material, and it would be cool to be able to acknowledge that. Could you try for a week as an experiment and see how it goes?

I would agree, definitely turn that on. I think that taja uk would be one of the top posters in reputation, and that's not only because of the last two posts that i read! He always has something insightful to add.
