What to do with W$ on Stars
I've been contemplating not using the 650 W$ I won on Stars yesterday for the Sunday $615 WSOP qualifier. I'm considering using the W$ for WCOOP satellites because I think I'd have a good chance of getting into 2 or 3 WCOOP events with that much W$ to play with and the chance of cashing in one of those would be greater than my chance of (a) winning a seat in the $615, and then (b) cashing at the Main Event.
Opinions?

This is personal preference, and only you can decide what to do.
FWIW though, I think you should play in the Sunday tourney. I say that because I know that's what you were "going for" when you played and won the DS. Your logic about the WCOOP is fine, but what if it's your destiny to get into (and win?) the Main Event like this??? If you don't play Sunday, you'll always wonder. |

yup, you have 4 options.
#1 - play the event on sunday, and win/dont win, a WSOP seat #2 - unregister, save it for WCOOP events #3 - Unregister, sell the W$ for about $550 real money #4 - Unregister, play alot more WSOP sattys to that event, turn your W$650 into more, and then play all of the above! |

Play the 650
I think on average they give about 10 seats in those . Not to many people in them for the most part. Then you have a 12k package you can A) play and possible win millions or B) Sell the package and do anything.

The packages are non-transferable. If you're not planning on playing in the WSOP, do yourself a favor and don't try to win it.

Unless you win more then one on stars, then you can unregister for 10k W$ and get 1k in cash. That would be kind of nice in my opinion.

Of course. But they make you play the first one, which is what we were talking about...

I know, I figured I'd just pipe in with my dream of winning two seats and being able to play all the major qualifiers for the next couple of years for free.
