fantasy football matchup
just have a quick ? I have 2 total defenses Baltimore and Buffalo. Baltimore is playing cincinnati and buffalo vs miami. I would like to know which to start. I know rudi johnson and chad johnson have been catching fire as of late. But i also know thaey are top 3 def in league. Then you have buffalo. Playing pretty much a high school team. Buffalo has been good defensively this season. Would like some imput.
Im in a 3 way tie for 4th. top 4 make playoffs. 2 weeks left after this one for our league. Last edited by bigjohnstud2o; 12-02-04 at 03:22 AM. Reason: quick note |

i have buffalo in my league, and i feel great about them. my strategy earlier in the year was to just pick up the team that was facing miami, they are just awful, and it worked pretty well. there were obviously weeks that i couldnt do it, but it was a winning strategy for a while.
i think buff will shut down miami easily. balt might be a higher risk/higher reward proposition. they got smacked around by the pats last week, especially by dillon, and it really wouldnt surprise me if they put in a great performance or if they were mediocre or worse again this week. however, i wouldnt expect to see another 58 out of cincy this week. |

Go with the Ravens
I have the Ravens in my league and I was looking at the same thing this week, although my other D is Jacksonville. It's a no brainer for me, but I would stick with the Ravens if I were you. The Bengals' offense is too sporadic. I would look for a big day for the Ravens Defense.

well I bet anyone right now that AJ Feely hits Nate Clements or Lawyer Milloy in stride for a defensive touchdown. AJ Feely rules at throwing touchdowns... for the other team.

I would only bet you if i got some pretty good odds. Feely sucks and is almost bad enough to QB for the Bears.

I would start Buffalo, Baltimore got worn out by New England last week and although they are a tempting play, Miami really has nothing to play for anymore. The only thing that would scare me as that Miami would abandon the run and just go crazy with their passing attack trying to score a bunch of TD's.
