Default Best Site

What is the best site out there for deposit bonuses? I'm talking in terms of a % bonus and relatively easy to clear...
I have $500 or so...
I normally play a couple of 1/2 NL tables at a time.

See list here - IMO, get them all:

I'd recomend starting with Intertops though (not on list), since this is a limited time offer with an added bonus from me:

The others wil still be around next month.

You're probably not going to make a second post, but... You are taking a big risk sitting at $1/2NL w/ only $500. Buying in for the full amount, you would only be able to play two tables at once. this = bankroll disaster. Consider dropping limits!

Some of the players here have FORGOTTEN more than you will EVER know about poker, not to mention that a lot of these guys have made more in one day playing poker than you will ever make playing poker. Show some respect asshat.

Here's the deal...I apologize if I came off wrong but I'm just wondering about people's experiences, not looking for advice.

I have made 10K in the last year playing online poker. I typically make about 1K a month or so playing at various sites. I have played at Royal Vegas, Victory Poker, Gamesgrid, Hollywood Poker, Popular Poker, and Titan Poker...those are the ones I remember offhand. However, I am -1500 or so this month and am looking for a change in scenery. I was just looking for what people have seen/observed from personnal experience. I am very aware of all of the websites that rate online poker rooms, but like I said, I'm looking for personnal experiences with poker rooms.

Like I said, my apologies if I offend, but I am a member of a couple of different forums that have people offering "free" advice and I'm not looking for that.

Any other responses would be appreciated.

This forum isnt offering "free advice".

Its a group of poker players, who make money playing the game, and we all help each other out, and when newbies come along we try and improve their game till they can post like we do. I say "we", i mean... you know what i mean guys.

My advice - dont insult a forum if you looking for advice.

And the intertops bonus is pretty damn good, plus theres $22 at stars as well on it if you do this within 3 days. Apart from that bet365s is ok, and hollywood, and also all the party bonuses they have.

Apart from that, i love how you say youve won $10k, and make $1k per month, then your down $1,500 this month. Playing with the "$500" bankroll that you do, thats a big swing for that roll.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I don't really think this guy was out of line. Say his bankroll is $10k. Could he not have $500 that he'd like to deposit somewhere? I don't have any problem with him asking that. I also think the "You are playing over our bankroll" posts are reasonable, untl he explained his situation... but there's no need to get nasty after that. I don't think he was insulting this forum at all.

To the original poster: You've played at a bunch of smal Mom and Pop type sites. It's time for you to open accounts at Party, Stars, Full Tilt, UB, etc. Seriously, just work your way down this list (bonus codes included):

Oh, and BTW (to RR)... I haven't forgotten anything about poker.

Thanks for the info those that have replied.
Like I said, my apologies if I offended. I have $500 that I'm plainning on moving to a new site...my bankroll is not $500!!! I typically play 1/2 sometimes 2/4 NL at 3 different sites trying to clear bonuses. I normally play 4- 6 tables at a time.
I am a member of 3 forum sites (this being the 3rd). I don't post all that often, but I do enjoy reading about various sites, bad beats, etc. One of my pet peeves about poker forums is all the people offering advice (when people aren't looking for it). Again, when people write in that I shouldn't be playing 1/2 NL and that I'm over my head, it offends me. Obviously being new here, you guys seem like a knowledgable, close-knit group.

No need to be offended. The advice people are offered here (despite the misunderstanding in this thread) is in their best interests. The people being given the advice can choose to ignore it if they like, but at least the good advice is there for anyone else reading along too, not just the original poster. And that........... makes this forum a better place.

Default i think this guy was rude

For what its worth, I think this guy was rude . The way he attacked someone just trying to help is way uncool. Even if he didnt ask for advice, (which he did though) Eveyone here wants to win money playing poker and the best way to max the profit is by talking with others and getting their input to better your game. If this guy cant handle it oh well. just my 2 cents ( make it my one cent just took a bad beat!!!)

Fair enough...but when the first 2 responses had nothing to do with the question and were actually talking down to me, I consider that offensive. "Probably not going to make another post"...not even sure what was meant by that....and "I'm not even that crazy"...ya...I think those are a direct poke at me. And as far as being a "newbie" (eejit101), I am far from. Now I know this statement is going to get a lot of interesting responses, but here goes...I have a poker blog/writings that have been published on a respected poker website. I can post some of it here if you would like, but it is would be rather long and boring to most of you...it is aimed at the true online "newbies". Like I said, sorry if I offended but my first experience with the responses on this forum were offending to me...

Just my two cents.

Default yep

the response I gave was on the little info you gave in you're 1st post, when someone says Im looking for somewhere to put $500 I usually play 1/2 NL, wouldnt you take it the same way Lou and I did. You said thats not your whole bankroll so now with the correct info I say way to go because you play well beyond my level.

As for where to play like TP said you playing the real small sites time to step up to the big ones where you can play and make alot more money.

As for what Lou says I can't speak for him but im guessing he means we always have these people that stop in here and make a post exactly like your 1st one never to be seen again. He grouped you in that group just because the post is exactly like 5-6 we get here every month. The forum is filled with players just like you that have made alot playing poker (not me) and I think you will be very welcome here.

welcome to forum.

I'm glad we got that cleared up. I understand where you are coming from...I know how commom it is for people to make one post and never to be seen again. My observations are that these type of people are normally promoting a poker site or bragging about their online successes. That is why I purposely made no mention of making money online. Now that we have an understanding, I still say this seems like a very knowledgable and close-knit forum. Definitely no hard feelings here...just a bit of a misunderstanding!!!

OK...back to the topic...of the "big" sites (Stars, Party, etc.) what do you recommend. Again, I can read reviews, but I'm looking for personnal experiences. Also, has anyone played Pacific Poker? I've heard that is very loose/fishy....

Also...those small/"ma and pa" sites may not have the traffic of some of the other sites, but they do offer some great deposit bonuses, up to 1000%. I have never had a problem with cashouts either and have had pretty good successes at them. If you are only playing the big sites, you may want to try a smaller site just to clear some of the bonus and cash out. Winning AND getting paid to play is pretty cool...I'm sure many of you would agree.

First, are you SURE that the first two responses had nothing to do with your question and were talking down to you, because mine certainly doesn't seem to qualify....?

I've played at pretty much all the sites. I think bonus whoring is great way to build a bankroll. Once you've gotten all the initial deposit bonuses, then you'll get emails for all their reloads and can bounce around and get them too. I honestly think you should have an account at every one of the big sites, and move your play around as you see fit (chasing bonuses, chasing fish, whatever).

There is no need to "wait" for a bonus at Party, as JD suggested. You can find their standard deposit bonuses listed .

After that, since you like big bonuses, go get 100% up to $600 bonus.

Be sure to get an account at too - they have $100 bonuses every MONTH.

does indeed have an easy bonus to clear (IMO - it's slower at the microlimits), and some REALLY bad players.

You also HAVE to get an account at ... well, just because it's about the best site out there, and they have nice reloads regularly too.

I'm not really sure how to answer your question any better than that. But I will say that a lot of times (not always), I can give you a little somethin somethin EXTRA (on top of what the site gives you) if you open your accounts through my links. PM me for more info if you are interested...
