Default PokerStars Header

Wouldn't it be wiser to have the buyin amount of your tourney or sng up top, (on Stars header) instead of your account name? I mean, if you're only allowed one account...I'm sure you know who you are. Why the need to have your account name, when it would be wiser and more important to the players to know which buyin they're in.

You're probably wondering why I care so much. Well, one of the reasons is that I messed up one night (I play tighter when I'm in a $13 sng, than when I'm in a $1.75 one. I went all in with AKo, thinking I was in the $1+sng. I lost, only to find out I was in the $13 sng) and from that night on, I try to be more careful and take the time to look up what sng buyin I'm in. But there would be no need to pull up & check the number of the tourney, if it would be on header, which just makes more sense. I play 3 or 4 sngs at one time/different buyins, so it's a bother looking them up.

I suggested this to PokerStars last week. They send me a response saying, something in the lines of..."no one else seems to be bothered by it." So, I'm thinking, maybe if they get more emails on this subject, they might change it. If not because it's a good idea ( which I think it is ) they'll do it to please their players.

If you agree with this, please email them and suggest it too. Thankyou.

Here's an example of what I'm referring to when I say the PokerStars header.

I'm thinking it's probably to help players like ZeeJustin and JJProdigy to know which account they are actually using right at that moment.

An ancient Chinese proverb states, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." In this case, it's not broke.

Hey, don't look at me. I'm not even Chinese, let alone an ancient proverb writer.

You are so an ancient proverb writer, and don't even lie.

I dont get this. To start with, why would you be multitabling sit and gos at such variance?

If you do what i do, and play about 3 of these at the same time, here goes.

My screen aint brilliant, i can just about play 2 tables on stars with them overlapping slightly, and have never been able to fix this. So....

Say im in 2 x $27 SnGs and a $55+$5, as i was yesterday. I simple place the 2 $27s on the top of my screen, overlapping at the top, and the bigger one ill put at the bottom, making a kind of T shape. Then you know which one to play "tighter in" or whatever you said. HOWEVER, this you should KNOW by now, the way you play should have NOTHING to do with the amount of buyin you paid for a tourney. Why play looser because its less of a buyin? Of course, if tis a rebuy, then loosen it up all you want till break 1, but for 2 sit and go freezeouts, why bother?

To start with i seriously recomending not playing different tables of such variance, thats like JD playing a $0.25/$0.50, and a $5/$10 cash game. The standard of play will vary in both, so why cause yourself more problems than necessary.

I like playing this way, but that's not the point.

You must agree it makes more sense to have the buyin amount instead of your login name. Unless you have more than one account, which you shouldn't have in the first place (by their own rules), it just makes no sense to me.

yeah, but is there any NEED for it? unless you are playing different buy in games, then simply remember which seat your in is which tourney
