6-max aggression preflop
For those that play 6-max cash tables, what are your requirements for opening with a raise from EP, MP, CO/button and the blinds?
I play a lot of 6-max but I really think I'm probably playing too tight preflop so I was wondering what other's strategy is for these games. Thanks.

You obviously mean no limit, and I obviously specialize in Limit. But in 6-max games, a good starting point is to use your basic full ring strategy as if it was folded to you in MP.
If you were in truly "MP" at a 6-max table, I'd probably look to open with shit all the way down to the weaker "20" hands (k10, q10, etc). Probably most pairs, and even some suited connectors to mix it up. Out of curiousity and to give me a better frame of reference, say you're UTG at a 6-max table. What are you opening with here as of right now?

Yeah, NL... sorry I missed that detail.
From UTG right now I'm probably too tight but my current requirements are pairs 7 and up, AK, AQ, AJs... that's about it.

UTG open range for me: Any pair, suited connectors 67 and up, any suited broadway, KQ, suited aces A9+, and AJ+.
I'm looser than most though, use at your own risk.

A bit of random agression here and there.
ANything from simgle gapped connectors on the button, and Q9 suited in early position, but i have raised the old HAMMER all over the place |
