We are waiting for our daughter’s birht. Help me to choose a gift for my wife.
We have been together for 8 years now, and this is our first child. I would like to make a perfect present for my wife and my daughter, but it is so difficult to choose. I need some piece of advice from all of You. I can choose a present for : My wife: My daughter: I understand that it is my child and my decision, but I have no experience in this, so I asking for a piece of advice. The time runs quickly, and it is possible that March 27 I will become a Father! |

My wife and I are expecting our first, a baby girl, this week. We are going in on Wednesday!!!! Wooohoooo Anyway, I just bought my wife a ring at Kohl's. Its not much, but has an aquamarine (March birthstone), with a few speckles of diamond. Not sure where you are located or if there is a Kohls nearby, but they are having a sick sale right now. Most jewelery is 60% off + and additional 10% off! Thats just about 1/3 of orig. price. They have lots too, sure you could find something nice. Either way, I hope all goes well. Best of luck. Let me start off by saying, "Congratulations," to the both of you.
As for Alexander, I find it somewhat odd to register in a 'poker' forum and ask for advice on gifts for your wife on your first post. There are a number of parenting forums on the web. But this is none of my business. Just found it a bit odd. This does not apply to other members who have been here longer than a day. As for the gift suggestion, a locket is a nice and memorable gift. Place your newly born baby's picture in it. She can eventually change the picture as the child ages. Try to find a locket with two picture spots. This way if you have a second child you can add it on the locket. This is something your wife will cherish forever, I know I would. |

It crossed my mind.
My first thoughts were, "I think he's trying to make us believe he has money to spend and is a loving, devoted, father-to-be." Eventually, he'll be asking for money in the spam section of this forum, explaining how broke he is after spending the money on his, questionable, 'wife and child'. My gift suggestion is still a good one, if any real fathers-to-be are interested. |

Interesting thought. Seems a little far-fetched though. How about the more-likely possibility that this is spam for the linked website? I assume that's what Mayhem meant.

its kind of weird that the 1st two pieces of jewelry were 7K and 14K while the last 3 went from $39 DOLLARS to $59 DOLLARS.
Thats a huge gap we are talking about. |

Why the hell would somebody seek out a poker forum solely for this spam? Not even remotely poker or gambling-related.

It's definitely just spam, and it's being moved.
But it's creative. I'll give him that much! |

7k for a 2ct si1-2 clarity g-h color diamond necklass seems a bit steep. Perhaps if it were a single stone necklace. Maybe he posted here looking for suckers.

Where would you find most men nowadays? Men with no idea what to buy their wives for their anniversary, birthday, first birth of a child, etc. Men who might just need a last minute gift for their wife. Poker forums?
Smart spammer. |
