Default A no limit play - the blocker bet

I see players (mostly donks), getting check raised on the flop and then throwing out some ridiculously low bet on the turn hoping for just a call . Basically a weak attempt at a blocker bet, but it seems like it might be usefull at times. I really don't use it much, if at all, and am thinking it might be something I should consider in some situations. Do you guys ever use it? If so, in what situations? Bet size relative to pot?

not really an answer but just a quick comment on this play

I love when obvious bad players bet say 100 chips into a 400 chip pot on the flop, then their opponent raises them 400 more to 500. They call. The turn comes a blank, then they lead out for 100 again and fold when raised

A very funny situation to observe

I'll try to post a real answer to this thread sometime tomorrow

Lol I know, that's actually what I saw in a hand before I posted this. Kinda reminded me I wanted to ask this question.
