funny discussion
classic discussion between TP and one of the bozos from the tourny me and him played in, about him cracking TPs aces with Q7s
Rogue23: After you called a big bet on the flop and hit that 5 outer. Exitonly4: You bet like 1/5 the pot. Rogue23: more like 3/4. (1925 into a 2700 pot) Rogue23: not to mention the preflop raise call with q7o (725 total 100/200 blinds) Exitonly4: It was sooted. Rogue23: my apologies then. ROFLMAO

LMAO, well TP at least you have that smart ass charisma ( no offense ) to keep your sanity their. I deal with a lot of that shit in the local casino around here it used to really piss me off me and bum me out. I dunno i guess it hits home with me becuase I have gotten that same response in the past verbally " it was suited. " But never played online to see them type " it was sooted ."

LOL.... Yes, good stuff.
I actually preferred this chat though: Rogue23 said, "i need a volunteer to double me up." Rogue23 said, "anyone? anyone?" Rogue23 said, "you sir, with the green hair.....?" <--- the guy from above Exitonly4 said, "I already gave you a double." LOL. I did double up that hand too, btw... |

Well I'm guessing you gotta live somewhere near the Hard Rock, I'm play in the tournaments there between 50 and 100 dollars.... Knowing yourself and the type of bankroll you have the have big field tournaments there with up to 1,000 buy ins. A guy not too long ago took about 60 grand in one of those...
just some food for thought if youre getting a little sick of the comp and want some live action. |

That's pretty decent. I didn't realize they have tourneys that big. What's the fee on those? $1000 + what? And what kind of field size are we talking?
Last question: How do they pay you? Cash? Do they report winnings to the IRS? Just curious. I live a good 2-3 hours away, but pshabi and I should hook up there for a day of whoop ass sometime. |

Dude in all honesty i do not have the answers to all of those questions. I know i've won $360 there in a tourney but that is too little for them to report to IRS. And the one I played was a multi table, back then they had multi tables every sunday. As for the fee for the 1,000, i have no clue. I'll try and find out for you though

I KNEW the UK had a benefit. anything i win from poker or gambling isnt taxable. The casinos pay the tax for us here, comes out of the rake

This goes out to TP, pshabi, JD, Zybomb, and all of the other " higher stake players " here on the site. Do you guys pay taxes on your winnings of online gambling. Because, I know we all live in the same state, and wonder what the regulations are.

Yes. Income tax evasion is a pretty serious crime in this country.
(BTW, this should definitely be a new thread, as it has very little to do with this topic, which seems to keep changing) |
