"New Posts" at bottom of page?
Ok...here's the thing. When I'm viewing a page and reach the bottom; which sometimes is 25 posts long....it's kinda a drag scrolling all the way up to click on 'New Posts'. I used to use the 'back' button on my browser; but I've noticed that if I do that....it doesn't mark the threads as 'read'. So I keep clicking on them later, noticing I've already read them. (Maybe it's an answer to JD's question too.)
Anywho....is there a possibility of maybe adding that same bar with the 'New Posts' at the bottom of page?

Ummmm..... I don't think so. I never even use that button.
Can't you just grab the slider on the right side of the screen and move it all the way up at once? Should take you like 1/2 a second. |

Here's how I handle the 'new posts':
I use the browser to go 'back' to the new posts. True, it doesn't mark them as 'read' at this point since it's just pulling up the page from the history. Once I go through all new posts, I simply click on the 'The TalkingPoker.com Forum' directly underneath the banner at the top. This returns me to the front page of the forum. Were you to do another 'New Posts' search at this point, it would show all the posts as being read. Also, if I reply to a post in the 'New Posts' list, I just using the small back button at the top and jump back about five pages to the search results page. (you could just go back one page at a time, but why waste time???) This works for me. I've very rarely missed any new posts. |

Would be so much easier with a 'new posts' button at bottom of page.
This coming from a fitness freak lol
