Sorry I have not been around much lately.. you might guess I busted out of Poker and was entirely fed up with the whole thing.. but you would be wrong. I am actually, for the first time ever, really happy with my game. I switched to playing O8 limit at stakes that are within reasonable parameters of good bankroll management. I have found that O8 Limit gives me a sense of "peace" about my game I have never felt about HE. I hardly talk about bad beats or rivers or anything of the sort lately. If I get rivered it usually is because I should not be in the hand, or I am playing the game incorrectly. I really feel that my skills in this game effect the outcome way more than HE ever could. In HE I can make the perfect decision, be way ahead, and never win. You would think that in O8 the same thing would apply except 4 times a worse. I hear people screaming the same things I did in HE at the O8 tables. All about suckouts and fish, etc, etc.. when they are jamming the nut straight on the flop with no low draw. If you do not know why this is bad it is ok, just trust
me, it is.

So anyway all is well with me. In fact better than ever. I think some of my nervana has even spilled over to my HE games. I play SNGs in HE and if I lose then I lose. So what. I still have that feeling of entitlement in HE but maybe one of these days I will get rid of it and take my game to the next level. Until then I am enjoying O8.

I have had a little bit of success in O8 too. Not a whole lot. I am still learning. I have had alot of success with MTTs. Or at least been really close. I have basically in the past week bubbled in 5 of 8 games I played, took a first and a third place. Something like that. All small stakes game but it enabled me to get a working bankroll. I also hit the cash games at the .50/1 level every night.. not as successful there.. about break even over the past week or so.

I will try and post more often and check in. Hope everyone else is doing well too.
