Default Firepay vs. Neteller

I am opening an account with one or the other doesn't matter. From what I know they are both the same. Anyone have any strong opinions here. Thanks in advance.

To save yourself trouble do neteller because with firepay I know empire and party wont cashout on firepay and I dont think they accept deposits with firepay either. Neteller is accepted everywhere kind of like visa lol. I couldnt imagine playing poker on one site and to another site without neteller to make life easy.

I used FirePay for a lon time before trying Neteller... and after using both, I have to say Neteller is better - at least as far as transferring around your bankroll is concerned.

Another big difference is the fees to deposit from your bank account to these services. FirePay is a flat $3.99 (I think) and the transfer is instant. For an instant transfer on Neteller, it's MUCH more expensive (7 or 8%). However, if you don't mind waiting a few days for the funds, you can do it completely free. Now that's what I'm talking about!

BTW, I don't think this is Off Topic, so I'm moving it into the main forum.

Just make sure you hool it up to an account that is not your main account, especially if you have direct deposit where you work. I only say this to be safe, after all these places, including Neteller are all off-shore and you won't get a lick of help from anyone in this country if you get screwed. I have never heard of Neteller doing anything wrong, but I had never heard of Paypal screwing anyone either till they jobbed about a zillion people.

Just be safe.

the only time you pay a fee with firepay, is when you deposit from your bank account to firepay. If you are just cashing out of sites, switching money around, (for all of us bonus whores, lol), or cashing out into your account (for all the winning players), you never pay a fee. For some reason I couldnt open up a Netteller account right away, although I didnt really press the issue.
I will take the advise and switch the linkage to another account though.

You can transfer to/from your bank acct for free on Neteller, but it takes 2-3 days to get each way.

The fee comes in if you want to transfer funds INSTANTLY to Neteller. If you can plan ahead by a few days before you want to put money into a poker site, then you will not have to pay a fee.

I have had a great experience with Neteller so far moving money in and out of sites.

the firepay transfers are usually 1 bus. day max. and again free to move around, deposit to sites, and withdraw. ONly pay a fee (of $3.99) if you fund from your bank acct., which hopefully for good players (and so far for me), a one time fee.
Seems like both work fine, that once someone gets all verified etc. that they dont have many problems, and most stick by that one. Definately seems like it is either Netteller, or Firepay though, as heads and shoulders above the rest.
Also, has anyone been a victim of any kind of fraud with accts. being linked to household accts. etc. Have seen several posts about being careful of that sort of thing, and I thing I will switch mine right away to link to a seperate poker only account (that I will plan to only deposit into, not from. lol).
