Any TalkingPoker members coming down to Australia for Aussie Millions?

If you are planning on going to Melbourne for the Aussie Millions you really don't want to miss the Speed Poker Championships.

Date: Jan 10th - 204 players - AUD1600

Top 36 will be split into 6 single table filmed for TV shootout semi finals on 11th and 12th with winners going into final to be filmed on 13th. If you want to be on T.V. you won't get a better chance than this - 18% of the field make the TV tables.

Don't miss the big Speed Poker "after party" on the night of the 13th Jan. - You need an invite so make sure you ask for one when you get to Crown. If anyone is coming down, PM me or email me from TalkingPoker and I'll fix you up with an invite if you play the Speed Poker tourney (so long as you promise not to knock me out:P)

Bdawg will be there, but unfortunately, during these dates, I think he will still be in the Bahamas. bdawg's got a tough life on the tournament trail, believe you me!

Yeah, i will be there - but just in time for the Main Event. I am scheduled to arrive on the 14th - and i plan on resting most of that day and evening. I will be in the Bahamas the week before playing in the WPT event.

That is pretty much it for me for the year - using up all my vacation time.

i am not all that infatuated with the WSOP - dont get me wrong, i would play in some of those events if the opportunity presented itself. But, if i do happen to be 'the blind squirrel that finds a nut' in one of these tourneys - i would hammer away at the other types of tourneys instead - i.e. Aruba and stuff like that.
