Sorry to hear that, man. It happens to the best of them....

I hope you stick around anyway. You can always start over with another freeroll or something (and yes, I realize how much that sucks).

Ouch dude. It happens.

Take a break and read some of the books, and come back with a new gameplan.
When you come back though, remember these two words: Bankroll Management.

Looks like I wont be seeing that 11 bucks for a while.

I'm following right behind you Hawt. Got a lil bit left though. Changed up what I'm playing.....

Switched to .10/.25 blinds and nothing bigger than a 5.00 SNG until I come off this slide.

Hope all works out well for you.

TP, just send it to Hawt. I was kidding about the money in my post above.

Hawt, I have faith in you and know you will get the full 11 back to me eventually. Take this ten bucks and see what you can do with it. If you lose it thats fine. I dont want to see you give up completely.

Sorry to hear that Hawt.

Poker can be tremendously frustrating. There’s often no reward in the short term for making the right decision – in fact, sometimes doing so can be very expensive. Winning takes luck and skill – if you are without either one in any given session, you’ll be punished. Then, on top of that, you need excellent money management skills and self-discipline to handle winning – or losing – large sums on money.

Plus, it can be highly addictive, especially online. You can stay out of a card room, but you can’t stay off a computer, so the temptation is always there, unless you take specific steps to eliminate it (closing accounts, etc).

I have a great deal of respect for the few who are able to succeed in the long term, and empathy for the many more who can not.

I’m getting murdered trying to clear the latest Party bonus, and have decided to take a short break myself. I’ll be back for the TP freeroll on the 20th, and perhaps will see you there.

Good luck in future endeavors.

One was a reply to Hawt. The other was a reply to Mayhem. Their content just so happened to be similar.
