Comig Soon: The TP Store...
Ok, maybe this will put some pressure on me to finally get this up and running.
Here's what I currently have available: -Hats (you can get your username stitched on the back) -Shirts (I selected a nice golf shirt - I'm happy with them) -Pens (woohoo - everyone loves pens) -Mousepads (these are pretty sweet) -Poker Chips (old logo colors - these were pricey) The chips are more to be used as card caps (people ALWAYS comment on them when I use them) than they are to be played with. They cost me about a buck each when all ways said and done, just to give you an idea. I'm not doing this in order to make money. Believe me, it will be more of a pain doing all this order processing and shipping and whatnot. But this is cool stuff, and I do want to make it available to you guys. Do you think I should charge for shipping, or just include that in the item prices? I'm thinking like really easy numbers... $1 for pens, $5 for mousepads, $20 for customized hats, $25 for shirts.... along those lones. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Anything else you'd like to see added to that list? Last edited by Talking Poker; 12-10-05 at 12:26 AM. Reason: whoops! |

I'd like to see a:
Zipper up fleece jacket with the TP logo with the option of having your name sewn on it Nylon pull over with the same as above... Just kidding...everything you've listed looks pretty good. I'll be first in line for one of them hats and one of your chips. I like stuff like that!

Personally, I would charge more for customized shirts then shirts . I would prefer shipping included in the price and I think it would make it easier for you to include it as well, ups or fedex. If you don't have a merchant account with them they're easy to set up and the shipping isn't that expensive. Because you're selling goods you may have to charge sales tax and such, if you have any questions for the accounting side of this pm me. I'll help you set up a basic spreadsheet so you can track costs and whatnot, and let you know which government forms need to be filled out if you want to go the whole "legal" route of selling merchandise.

I'm a big hat guy, you will almost never see me without my DC or Tigers cap on. That said I'm kind of picky about them.
What I would really like to see is a fitted cap (flexfit - the one with the elastic rim) with our username embroidered on the side or back. Id be willing to pay 40 bucks for it even.

Just wondering... What are the "old logo colors"?
I agree with the fitted hat, and I think Studiopets idea of nylon windbreaker with our username on it would be cool. (probably expensive though)

I was actually kidding about that....but if it were an option - I'd buy one. I'm tired of wearing the freebie ones from vendors. A TP one would be nice to have.

TP merchandise
I’m the proud winner of a TP mousepad, cap, and chips. Of these items, I personally think the chips are by far the coolest. I have a lot of caps, but the chips are relevant to the topic of the forum, make fine card protectors in live games, or are good for just playing with to break up the monotony of clicking the mouse when bonus-clearing online.

Thanks for the feedback - really.
I like the chips a lot too. I just kinds regret that the logo isn't "perfect," but that's just how I am. You can see them in the pic in my profile: The lettering is purple, instead of red, and the star came out a bit light (IMO). That said, they are still nice chips. Shipping will most likely be USPS, as that's the easiest. Once I find the best materials to use to package them, I'll just but a ton of them and I'll be all set. I have the chips, mousepads and pens in stock now, but the hats and shirts need to be custom ordered and it takes AT LEAST 2 weeks (usually more like 4) for them to turn them around for me. I like fitted caps too, but I choose the best one (IMO) that would work for everyone. It's got a nice velcro strap in the back, which I personally prefer a LOT over the clasp ones. They are also low profile, and quite comfortable. |
