Make 1000 posts and you'll get all sorts of good stuff.
Or, bug me next week to actually open the TP.com store I've been putting off opening for so freaking long because I'm such a lazy ass. |

I guess once I find a trinket that I consider lucky that'll be my card protector, but for now I don't use one.

Up until VERY recently, we never had a hold'em home game. Then N1kita and I hosted one a couple weeks ago. Since I had just been down to Kentucky and visited the Caesar's Indiana casino the week before the planned event, I picked up a $5 chip for each of us. Obviously completely different from the chips we use at home so no possibilty of any type of mistake.
The best part was at the casino itself. When the cashier found out they were for souvenirs, he went out of his way to find the best looking chips he could find. Now, it wasn't like he went on a two-hour search or anything but quickly looked through about 3 or 4 racks of chips for me. That really impressed me. (Unfortunately, didn't actually get to play any poker while at the casino - they were running a $85+15 tourney and I missed the start.) |

I hope you tipped him...
Some cashiers will actually go and get uncirculated chips for you (some like to buy one dollar chips for home games). You should tip these guys that look out for you. |

Unfortunately, I didn't. I was a little overwhelmed just standing in an actual B&M Poker Room and I didn't even think to tip the guy. He absolutely deserved it though. Thinking back, I didn't actually have anything to tip him with (unless I gave him back one of the chips he found for me ). I'm sure he could have broken one of my larger bills though. Damn...now I feel bad.

Shouldn't this be in the Karma section?
