whats is the purpose of poker video games. Why would anyone wanna play computer for fake money while they could play a real person online for money. Are these games for educational purposes because I dont think you can learn anything tfrom a computer. The human brain goes through diffrent thought proceesing then any computer. What do u guys think, poker video games good to learn from and fun to play or the just a stupid waste of money.

It's a very good idea, however there is no good game out. Stacked with Daniel Negraneau will come out soon and it's supposed to be very good. We'll just have to wait and see.

I agree, there are no good (challenging) games out there.

The only time I can see playing them is if you cannot be online and you are bored. Then you might want to pick it up to play, but I would think you could find something better to do (or pick someone off the street to play heads up with???)

For consel poker games , you can play against the computer and online. Maybe people are content with there skills so they decide to play just for fun.

my friend's little bro got one of the games for the TV and it was completely stupid - i would never play it again.

While most games are usless, it allows players to play for fake money as much as they want, as where some sites wont let u.....However another good point is online play. on the PS2 and xbox versions u can play other players online at tables sit n gos and multi table tournies.....it is kinda neat especially if someone doesnt have a computer.

I think with Stacked, you can play in like tournaments and such and you get a rating assigned to you and stuff like that. Then I think I read somewhere that you can play in tournaments for prizes and stuff but I'm not sure.

poker video games are so dumb. no excitement liek online poker. No trash talking either. And you can beat the video game but u cant beat online poker
