I don't particularly like Annie Duke (not that I have much against her - just things I've seen and heard), nor do I think she's "all that" when it comes to her poker skills. Don't get me wrong, she's good...
I would like to see a woman win the Main Event though. I think it would be great for the game, and hopefully get more women interested in learning to play. |

I agree...I think brining women into the rooms brings brand enw strategies and playing styles women jsut bring reads and plays that most male players havent seen

What are you guys talking about, Tiffany Willaimson should have won this year, she was an amazing poker player I think that it's unlikely for a woman entrant to win the main event due solely to the comparison of men vs woman in the event, but it's unlikely for anyone to win an event with near six thousand entrants so who knows.

i would have to agree with TP. duke very often behaves/d like, because she's a woman and women have been, wrongly, slighted in the past, and esp so in organized poker, she's now entitled to act any which way she wants.
now, i understand that she apparently has had some problems in her past, but then so do we all, and that's IMHO never an excuse for poor behavior.
