How can one win the $100,000,000 Jackpot Prize?
During the Final Table action, if one of the players will hit a Royal Flush of Spades he will win the $100,000,000 Grand Prize! An enormous prize like which has never been seen in the history of poker. A hand no one will ever forget. And that's not all…if you come close to hitting the Royal Flush, you'll also go home a millionaire! The Final Table at this tournament will be the most exciting in poker history, as we'll have several more Jackpot hands. The additional Jackpot Prizes are: 1. Any other Royal Flush - $1,000,000 2. Any Straight Flush - $1,000,000 3. 4 of a kind Aces - $500,000 4. 4 of a kind Kings - $500,000 5. 4 of a kind Queens - $250,000 6. 4 of a kind Jacks - $250,000 7. 4 of a kind 10's - $250,000 They are offering 100 mill for a royal flush in spades it sounds like to me, not a 100 mill guaranteed tourney or anything. |

even if its crap, it still is a pretty cool promotion.
i wonder how much the insurance for the 100 mil is for the site, as i am sure that they arent just puting that up themselves. |

It's really not that big of a deal.... just an excuse to make up a really big number that they will never have to pay out.
And I'm sure they are insured too.... just like those Hole in One contests and other crazy promotions (like Pepsi's Billion $ thing a few years ago) always are. Last edited by Talking Poker; 10-03-05 at 03:30 AM. |

i couldnt ever see this happening. No-one would insure this against a random number gentarot, noone. Too risky. This is where the "random" of the hands might not be exactly that.

This is simply untrue. There are comapnies who will insure pretty much anything. They calculate the odds and come up with a number. It's that simple. I'm sure they will do the due dilligence to make sure Noble's RNG is solid first, of course...

I think it's a "live" tournament....
Therefore the RNG is meaningless for this promotion. Now if you could pay off a good "mechanic" dealer... You could up your odds.

Trust me when I say this...you can put a price on any risk. The premium will be adjusted according to the odds.

If the blinds ever get capped, the final two player should continue to play by calling the blinds and checking it down to the river. Chop any jackpots. Continue to chop until someone finally hits a royal :P.

The first ever 3000 hour final table lol
However, whoever said the paying of a mechanic dealer is a genious idea, but i think they might have a camera on the dealer to see if it is being mechanicised. who knows? Still worth a gp, but the buy in to this tourney is HUGE. some1 has told me $10,000. |

Lloyd's of London. They would be the secondary insurers on something like this. Like the shipping industry, they insure losses much larger then this on a regular basis. If not Lloyd's, then a company similiar to it.
