Daniel N's deal
Stolen from Iggy, as usual
You guys see Daniel has signed a deal to play cash games exclusively at Wynn's new place? My god -- how much must Wynn be paying him to give up all other cash games? Does this mean he won't engage in any of the side games at the other big tourneys in AC or whereever else? That seems unlikely ... But I'll say this -- I will be eager to check the place out, though something tells me there won't be many low-limit tables. |

Wow, that is very surprising. I'll have to check out FCP to see if there is any more info. What is Wynn's going to be like? Nice obviously but any more info/talk about the place.

Not much info yet
We drove by on my trip a couple of weeks back, and it is huge. So more details here on all the anticipation. |

that is a very surprising deal. it must have been an unreal amount of money for him to make that commitment. considering that for side games in vegas he usually plays 4k-8k at the bellagio, there would have to be some really big guarantee from wynn that there would be high stakes action in their room. it probably also means that he has to put in some specific amount of hours over the course of the year.
it seems like daniel has a couple of serious endorsement deals going right now, with the wynn deal and the xbox game. good fro him, but i would question if they will help or hinder his ability to win at the tables. |

I think you guys are making a fairly big assumption.
He says he signed a deal to be the Poker Room Ambassador. He also says he will be playing cash games exclusively there. He does not say that he signed a deal to play cash games exclusively there... While I'm sure he will play there regularly, I suspect he will indeed play in other cash games occasionally - especially when he's out of town on the tournament trail. I think what he was saying is that when he's in Vegas, his usual game is going to be at the Wynn. |

does wynn own the bellagio as well?
if he does, then this move isnt as bad as i originally thought. i would assume that the big game would make the move over to the wynn during regular times, and when there is a big tourney at the bellagio, then it might move back there. if wynn doesnt own the bellagio, then this move seems questionable. i dont interpret it as meaning that he cant play anywhere else, but it seems to violate the deal if he plays significantly at the bellagio unless there is a big tourney there. nom playing in the big game would seem to be a significant loss in earnings for danny, and whatever deal he has with wynn would have to be significant to overcome this. |

Sounds like this has come to a close
There was only one problem. The big game never left the Bellagio.

I think those challenge matches started off pretty hot, but he hasnt played one in awhile. And, when you are among the best of the best, you need to gambool in the biggest games. These guys are junkies, its great. Have you read his blog lately about playing props during the big game! Insane...

I also heard about it, i was watching tv and i saw daniel playing at the whynn and talking about some kind of deal. i didnt really get what was going on since i didnt watch it from the beginning, but i think he made the right choice doing that. do you know how much money he will make playing amatuers. i would say and average of at least 10 to 20K a day.
