you were better than a coin flip...how is this a bad beat? They have 4 outs to beat you barring straights or flushs

I wouldn't really call this a bad beat, since you were favored throughout the entire hand. AK seems like a good hand, but when 2 players are holding it and are up against 77, it is looking more like 72 offsuit versus AA.

no it doesnt look like 72 vs. AA , it looks like a PP vs. two overs in which case ur usually about a 55/45 favorite - how did u thik this was a bad beat - or as u call it "The most aesomely Bad Beat ever"

isn't he way more than 55/45 bc they both have AK. like I said before they both only have 4 outs. I was thinking more along the line of 70/30.

ya i didnt look close enough at the hand history - hes a big favorite against 2 holdings of AK - like a 65% chance to win the pot here- and somehow this is in the bad beat section ?

Ok so not enough info there folks it wasnt a bad beat cos of the cards alone, more due to the situation as well.
I was sat at the same table as these 2 fools most of the tourney, they were basically taking the piss then whole time criticising my tight educated play and a few other things as well. I had a nut flush draw after the flop on one hand and 1 of them it yurned out had 3 of a kind. He bet like 40% of the pot i think to try and bully me, now 15% of the pot was about 1500 so very much an underbet. I caught my card on the river, i had 10 outs remember after the flop and 2 chances at it. I cant remember his exact words but they were something like, i hate noobs they cant play, f**king river rat etc etc. When it was just the 3 of us left they were colluding against me, when it was only the two of them in the pot they would check it down to the river, and basically gang up on me. It was a bad beat from my point of view because i was the underdog and was short stacked at the start of our encounter but outplayed them and childish comments. Oh and yes the title was meant to grab ur attention, so sorry for that. |
