Default Donkey play of the week

At my home tourney last night. It's first round of blinds. It's the SB heads up vs. me in the BB.

He completes with J9o and I check with A4o.

Flop comes 10 10 10. I have the best hand. I bet pot sized and he thinks for too long. Show his neighbor his hand and calls.

He spikes a jack on the turn for the full house. He checks, I make a nice bet again and he calls. Fuck.

Does he have a PP?

So, the glorious river, brings the 4th 10!!!! I've got the nuts!!!!!

He checks. I go all in.

He chuckles and says, whatever man, and calls!

I flip my hand and call ace-high and he's like "full boat."

Yeah.

That's great.

You should print out a "What Beats What" chart for him and highlight "Full House" and "Four of a Kind."

I have seen alot of people do that. I guess it is rare enough that people do not know 4 of a kind, 5 cards play. I mean I got 4 of a kind, right? I pushed all in during a tourney and expected a tie or something with a 4 of a kind, the guy calls with a 2 kicker, and says "WTF! I have 4 of a kind!" so I laughed at him.

I've got a great home game!

Really, his though process was probably, "Phil bluffs a lot." Maybe he thought I had 9 high?

This same dude is at my home game tonight. Just 6 of us. All are left in 3rd round of blinds. 4-handed, table limps to me in the BB with 66. I have 12 x the BB and decide to just pick up their shit limps. I go all-in and he's first to act after me.

Two behind him and he calls of over 2/3 of his stack with J9s because "he had a feeling about a straight" and hit a pair to beat me.

Fucking shit!!!

As I'm typing this he just busted the 2nd best player in the game!!!!

My buddy has AA and he has K10o. Buddy raises 2.5 x BB and donkey reraises him. My boy reraises all in and he calls and hits a king on flop and on turn.

Fuck.

What's the buy in for this? I want to come down and play sometime, just for kicks.

My man pushes all in with over 20x BB with 23off last night.

Called someone's (his own brother for god's sake) preflop all-in with 56off (I think opponent had AQ?) and took him down.

Good times.
