Not showing Tells
I was playing in a new spot last night for the first time (old spot got raided but not while I was there at least ) Played for about 2 hours or so with mixed results. While dealing the card the dealer flipped up what would of been my 2nd hole card -- the Ace of Diamonds. I look at her sarcastically thanking her. I look at my first card (8) and the deal goes around and she gives me a new one. Its another 8. A player makes a comment from three seats away. Looks like that second card helped you huh?
Fuck.... what did I show here? How do I make sure this doesn't repeat |

Wow.... I would never make a comment like that if I saw something... be glad she did, and don't let it happen again. Pay attetion to you you naturally act when you look at your cards, and try to be consistent every time, no matter how much you love or hate your hand.

The way I make reads is by asking myself what would I do in a similar situation. Just be aware of yourself, and keep that face relaxed. Either that or go crazy, be random in what you do. Is it bad form to manipulate a call? For example Mike Matasow got onto TJ about not knowing his hand that he accidentally won. Mike read him correctly and made the the call then TJ saw he had a flush he didnt notice(didnt know pros were capable of this...) and he got pissed and said that he somethinged him, I dont remember the word. Nonetheless, is it ok to act and draw to draw calls? I assumed so but TJ coulda just said he was acting right....I completely take advantage of this in home games and manipulate calls.
