Amount
My friend won a seat into Sundays 200 +15 500k guarenteed tourny. He isn't going to be be able to play and he wanted me to play it for him.
He isnt charging me for the seat, and we wanted to figure out what would be a good % for me of the winnings if I cash Anyone have any ideas? |

Doesn't he realize he can unregister? I would say 20%-40% is a nice percentage... I'd feel like a crook if I asked for more than 40%, especially if it was a friend.
That's just me.

If he realizes he can unregister and still wants to back you, so be it.
Whatever % you come up with, do it "with makeup," meaning he gets the first $215 that you win, and then you split after that. As high as 50% is actually reasonable, but if you'd rather take less because he's a friend, I'm sure he'll be ok with that too. |

The amount my friend was discussing was 25-30%... I didnt wanna give this number just in case it'd influence anyones decision
For example if you thought I should get 80% and I said he brought up 25-30, you'd be like no I think you get at least 60% , when inr eality u thought 80 --- Anyway, is this not enough for me to get...it seems u guys think a bit more is correct |

Here's the deal.... he's making YOU the offer, so basically ,you should take whatever he offers - assuming you have nothing better to do with your time, and more importantly, that you weren't planning on playing anyway. If you were planning on putting yourself in, that it's your own personal preference if this is enough for you.
Now... if YOU were the one seeking a backer, you could ask for whatever you want and see if anyone takes you up on it. But this case is different. I think I'd take it if I was you, especially if there is no makeup. Look at it as a nice freeroll, with payouts that happen to be 75% less than what is posted on the site. Still pretty hard to pass that up... |
