Pujols THank U God
OMG that was insane, I dn if u guys were watching but My cardinals were down 4-2 goin to the 9th. First 2 guys get out, then comes Eckstein - single- Edmonds- walks- 1st and 2nd 2 outs- Pujols - strike one- ball one- strike 2- 3 Run Homerun!!!!!!!
They were 1 strike away from going to the World Series and Pujols Hits a BLAST. Now we got these next 2 games no doubt- then on to conquer the World Series- Me and all my buddies went Freakin Insane when this happened, possibly the most exciting thing ive seen out of the cardinals ever.I really wanna try and buy World Series Tickets if we go- that would be so much fun.

that was a f*king bomb. he absolutely crushed that ball.
sorry, but i still dont feel really good about your guys chances to make the world series. beating oswalt and clemens back to back is going to be a really big challenge, but it definitely can be done. as a red sox fan, i will give pujols what amounts to some serious praise here: that moment was absolutely ortiz-esque. |

I was at the game when Mark McGwire hit his 500th home run. That was pretty exciting Cardinals moment.

Pujols=best hitter in the game today.
If he keeps consistent for another 6-7 years, I think the argument can be made that he is quite possibly the best hitter of all-time. Kind of scary the guy hasn't even hit his prime (if he is indeed only 25 years old).

I was at McGwires 62nd - that was insane- also the other best memory was this year when we were down by 3 in bottom of 9th and eckstein came up and hit a grand slam to win it. We probably stood clapping for a good 10 minutes after the game was over- Nobody left- that was awesome.
And I know it might be tough for us to get to the series- but our offense just caught fire And were at HOME and that is going to be a very scary thing for the Stros , I think we got a good chance of making this miracle comeback.

Your offense just caught fire???
I think you mean your Pujols just caught fire, cause he is your offense.

u dont count 9 hits vs. pettite as good offense ???
Pujols had just one of them - ONE BLAST that saved us - but I dont think he's all we have by any means.

Edmonds and Walker are both pretty banged up but Eckstein is one of those guys that is amazing come crunch time.
Im a reds fan but I can def. respect what the cards have done... also the NL Central will be in the WS regardless... so go NL Central. |
