A few things
Buy in for the max whenever you play NL cash games. Don't raise 3xBB after 2 limpers raise 5-7 especially since your out of position. On the flop you didn't bet enough again, fire about 1/2-3/4 of the pot or if your oppenents like to draw charge 'em more. Same thing on the turn you didn't bet enough. I don't know how I would play this river since I would have defined my oppenents hand by now courtesy of larger bets throughout the rest of the hand.

standard formula I use for cash game raises (this is when I decide I am going to raise by the way, not only if I have monsters) is 4xBB...if there are limpers I add their call to my raise. So .50 BB, My raise is 2 dollars. Since there are 2 limpers already in, and thus more people likely to call bc of odds, I up it .50 (1BB) for each limp, making my PFR 3.00
Now assuming the 3 other players did choose to call this raise there'd be 12 in the pot. You'd only have 11-12 or so dollars left (always buy in for the max), so here I'd normally bet around 3/4 of the pot (maybe even sometimes the entire pot), but since 3/4 (8 bucks) commits you to the hand, you may as well push your stack on the flop. I have a hard time believing this guy would: 1- call a PFR of 3.00 with 10 7 (especially if it convinced others to fold) 2- Calling an all in with bottom pair and no kicker, with 2 paint on the board to a PFRer Then again you never know, he may of called anyway -- but if he does you WANT him to. You'll make money in the long run |
