Default Poker World

this is a very strange situation. last night i played there for a while, lost a couple of bucks playing .05/.50 nlhe. no big deal.

this morning, i logged back in, and all my money was still there, including what i lost last night.

anyone ever experience this? it makes me a little bit wary of their site, even if it did benefit me right now.

I'd be more worried about a site that carries 5 cent/50cent blinds....

Definatly, DEFINATLY ask for an explanation, either that or withdraw your cash immediatly and never go back there. Sports book software is tested, tested and re-tested 100 times over before they even think of going live, I would imagine poker software would be a zillion times more difficult to program and thus would be tested even further, this kind of mistake should never happen. If it happened just the opposite where you won money, but it wasn't in your account you would not think twice about getting out of there.

Pokerworld is a seriously shady site in which I would never put a cent into. I responded to a guy who said he'd give me a hundred to play there but he'd take half my winnings for a while. He also said that to get paid i would have to go through him( ie i couldn't withdraw from my account on the site but would have to go through him(fishy) .well i wasn't costing me anything so I gave it a go . I set up an account and sent him my screen name. An hour later i had a 100 in the account well there was only one game going at the time(since only 15 ppl were on the site and 10 of those were play money) I played .50/1 NL I won 50 in an hour but was disgusted by the graphics and play on this shit site so I decided to try to cash a little out $30 in fact. A screen pops up and says it'll take 48hr to process ok whatever. The next day I get an email from the guy who gave me the 100 saying" so you tried to take money out without telling me eh blah blah blah and then said he was taking the money back. I go back to pokerworld and check the cashier and all the money was gone! Now would I feel safe putting my own cash on a site where some guy you had e-mailed a screen name to had access to your account ? NOT FUCKING LIKELY, I suggest to all, take whatever money you can and put it into a respectable site!

Oh I did e-mail him back and called him a piece of shit and so on and then blocked him from my e-mail address. I then went on RGP and called him out on the bullshit.

i've never used pokerworld but i've heard of some pretty weird stories -- sometimes where they'll win a tourny, and when the come back the next day they DON'T have the funds anymore. i'd get out of there, and stick to the reliable services (stars/party)

i just thought that this was completely shady, and that obviously something is seriously screwed up with their record keeping procedures.

i will never deposit any of my own money there, i was only playing off of a free bankroll. im not sure if it is even worth my time to play on this site, just for the fact that i might never be abkle to take out any winnings.

i just brought this up because i wanted to give people a heads up.

i checked the transaction history for my account, and for some reason i got 5 bucks transferred to me yesterday, so that explains why my account remained unchanged. i dont know why someone sent me the money, but at keast this is starting to make some sense.

i am not sure that i trust the site completely still though.

I don't think there is any question you need to get the hell out of there and play at the safer sites.

Default Same thing here

I got another $5 bucks as well. Pleasant surprise, but I'm still not feeling good about the site overall.

But not to bad now that the second $5 hit, then a little better after the 3rd $5, then kind of OK after the 4th $5, then pretty damn good after the 5th $5.......you get the picture.

I think I will hurry up and unlock the money I have there and get it out too, before they start sending me money too....lol j/k
