Default Caro's Book of tells

Just got this the other day. I've read through about 100 pages or so. Has anyone read this and how much has it helped your game?

I think it's a great book (with annoyingly dated pictures), but honestly, I haven't read it enough times for it to really full sink in. The best NL player I know (he's VERY good) says this is the single best book he's read - as far as how useful it has been to helping him win. For what it's worth, he won a braclet in Tunica.

I thought it was a good book with some inside info. Some tells I really pick up well in the game. A book I recommend for others in live games a lot.

i think it is a pretty good book, but i only have limited experience with it.

i amazed at the number of tells that are just human nature, and that are astonighingly difficult to do away with.

for instance, one of the classic tells is looking at your chips when you have astrong hand. almost everyone does it, and it is very hard to realize when you take a quick peek at your chips. i find that i do this all the time, and others do it with an amazingly high frequency.

i think the best purpose of the book is to make you aware of all the different things that people do at the table. obviously it is best to adjust your reads based upon your direct competition, but the caro book is definitely going to help out.

This is a very good book to help your B/M or home game. It's more of an expose` on human behavior than a poker book - but it works. Mike Caro - is anyone else "sold" on him being a good poker player?

Yeah, losing wasn't working much for me. I've spent about $200 on literature and it was worth every penny. Plus, I'm a teacher with an infant so that means I don't work in the summer and the baby sleeps 2 1/2 to 3 hours during the day, so I had a lot of reading time this past summer.
