Online poker help needed
Hey,
Does anyone know any good online poker software or site where I can set up a private game between me and my college buddies, who are spread out all over the country? Please let me know any ideas you might have. Thanks!!! Brian |

stars does private tournaments, minimum of 3 players, minimum of $10+1 buy-in. you have to have a certain number of player points though, and i'm not sure the requirement...

If you are asking for a link to Poker Stars, I'm sure you don't have enough points to set up a Private tournament there, but here it is anyway:
Of course, if you and your buddies become somewhat regulars around here, I could set up the tourneys for you |

I play all my private tourneys at Stars, and I can't say for sure about these other sites, but I think you MIGHT be able to set up Private Tourneys on them, or so I have heard (I've never tried it myself):
It's at least worth looking into them though, if you are stuck.... |

Thanks for your help. I for one will spend some more time around here. However, I am just a casual player who is too busy at law school to play that often. I appreciate your efforts...Brian

Party
Party Poker lets you setup private cash games. A nice NL game or something.

This is true. For some reason, I assumed he meant tourneys... If you just want to set up a private cash game, Party is the way to go:

That makes you a rare bird. Most law students who post on internet poker boards are too busy with poker to spend a lot of time at class.
