Default I guess I got too much drool on the screen...

I was multi-tabling 1/2 and 2/4 short seated NL at Stars tonight, working on the latest bonus. I had folded a lot of hands to preflop raises in this room, and decided to take a flop with my suited Ace.

Wait until you see this freaking action. I know I COULD have played it faster, and yes, I knew I was likely up against a set or at least 2 pair.... but I think I played it fine.

It just sucks to see a $473 pot stolen on the river. *sigh*

P.S. Yes, I know exactly how many outs he had, and no, I'm not saying he played it terribly. Just saying this was one kick in the nuts I could have done without.

Looking at it again, he overplayed his set. Fucker got very lucky pairing the board.

Wow I just looked at your old post of when your queens got busted --- that is serious, esp with the big pot. I would of gone apeshit.... a call for that much money knowing you are at very best 16.5%??? He didnt really have to worry about you, because he knew he was drawing to the nuts unless the board paired, for all he cared he was hopin youd come along , more $ if he did win, although the extra raise im sure disturbed him....but man thats one bad beat........... if the player who made the move would of hit, thats once thing, but a player who called on a draw with 1 card to come? Geez...then add to that that 5 of his 9 remaining outs were taken up, 2 in his opponents hand, and 3 thatd pair the board

I'm a pessimistic motherfucker, so I would've been like, "don't pair the board, don't pair the board, don't pair the board."

And of course, it would've paired just the same. I'd be on suicide watch.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I knew where I stood and what cards I didn't want to see. Obviously I'm going with it though. I'm not folding the nuts. Ever.

When that 5 hit, I was thinking, "Yup, there it is."
