Wsop...
I know I've asked before, but is anyone planning on being in Vegas during the Main Event this year? I'll be there, taking again.
I've also got $2500 to spent on tourneys  Take a look at the schedule:I'm going to play in Event 43 for sure ($1500 NLHE). The big question for me is if I should play in Event 44 or 45 (each $1000 NLHE) or if I should take a shot at a Super satellite to the Main Event, which is damn tempting. Thoughts? |

What is the setup/terms of the super satellite?
I'd be tempted to give one a shot. I don't have plans to be there as of yet, but you never know. I've got a big accident settlement that I'm waiting on. Anticipating 100k and if it comes through, I may play in one of the smaller tourneys. Shit, I may just end up ponying up for the big dance. Never know.

I assume you're being backed? I think I remember you saying something to that extent. If that's true, then you should discuss it with him. If you're not being backed, then I say go for the $1500nl and one of the $1000nl. Either one will have a great payday.

0/1 in 'Stars double shootouts. I got to heads-up at my table and lost a grueling battle to the player who eventually finished 2nd.
Right now, I only plan to go if I win an entry in the main event. If that comes to pass, I'll try to sell 50% of myself and use that for action while I'm there. |

I would play two tourneys.
I am sure you will be playing cash games while you are there, so the second you are "up" $1k, use that to buy into the satellite. That's what I would do. On a side note, I "WILL" be at the 2006 WSOP.  The boss just gave me the time off. (I was too new of an employee to get the time off for this year.) Good Luck TP! I'll follow you on PokerWire.com

I'm surprised some of you bigger players like talking poker himself aren't entering more online satellites for the wsop. Some of the overlays you can get are too good to miss.
