Default TP You need to play FT 1/2 NL

Unless this hurts your EV you usually have. This is as soft as .05/.10 NL IMO. Current up to date stats. Deposited $45 Up to $351.25 in 2 days. Thats huge for me.

Funny you mention that. I play the 2/4 NL there usually and do well. Tonight, I decided to play the 1/2 NL for whatever reason - and I got my ass kicked. A couple of bad beats (AT sucking out on my AK), but mostly second best hands... I'd flop 2 pair and lose to flopped trips. I'd flop trips and lose to better flopped trips. One thing after another.

Finally quit, moved back up to the 2/4 game, won some of my money back, and then called it a night.

20-30x the buyin amount will leave you very comfortable.
$200 (buy-in) x 20 = $4000.
$200 (buy-in) x 30 = $6000.

Do I think this is a little crazy? Yes. But, that's what I've heard. I wouldn't suggest anything below $1500. (And that's if you're a risk-taker.)

Enjoy.

Those are big numbers, and I'm sure no one online actually follows those guidelines, but I too have heard that you should never sit with more than 5% of your bankroll is a given session. That's 20x, of course.

So, when I play the $400 tables, my bankroll should be $8000k. Fair enough. But when I'm feeling frisky and I sit with $1000 (half a buy in) to play with a couple of pros at the $2000 tables, my bankroll shold really be $40k. Yikes.
