Questions about Vegas
In one week, I will be leaving for Vegas with some friends. This is my first time going and there are still
many questions that I do not have the answers for. If you can answer any of these questions, I would really appreciate it. 1. How is the Flamingo? (that is where I am staying) 2. What casinos do you like and why? 3. What casinos do you recommend for NL holdem $1/$2 4. What casinos do you recommend for NL holdem freezeout tournaments from $40-$100 buyin 5. What night clubs should I go to 6. What shows do you recommend (if anyone has gone to the peep show...if so, is it worth paying money to seeing Holly Madisons tit's live? :P ) 7. What are some great places to eat at in Vegas. 8. How is Downtown Vegas? 9. How is the Spearmint Rhino? Is there any other strip clubs you would recommend going to instead? 10. How much money would you take with you for a week. (I know this depends on the person and what they are going to be doing in Vegas.... this is just for fun) If there is anything else you suggest I do in Vegas...please let me know. |

1. The Flamingo is pretty meh, I only stayed there a night. Awesome central location but it's a bit old and dingy inside. If you're staying during the week, you can pretty much stay anywhere for a decent price.
2. The Wynn, Bellagio and Aria are the nicest. If you want to play beer pong go to OSheas. 3. The Mirage has soft games, I'm sure everywhere does though. 4. Not sure, just play cash imo. 5. Eh, Vegas clubs are a bit tacky. Pure at Caesars is pretty good. The place on the roof of the Palms is cool too. 6. Penn and Teller at the Rio. Anything Cirque. Peep show sounds pretty gross dude. 7. Pretty much anywhere has good places to eat. My favourite is Cut at the Palazzo. 8. Not sure what you mean. 9. It's tops, do it. 10. 2k maybe, plus whatever you're paying for accommodation. |

As a self proclaimed member of the Rhino Addiction Foundation.
Private shows are $100 there. Whereas Sapphires has "hidden" fees, $20 for a bouncer, 2 drinks and a $100 charge. Better bang for your buck at rhinos

Recent developments
For a time, Rhino was the best place in town. 2+2 LVL forums are reporting that after a recent raid/series of arrests things aren’t nearly as freewheeling as they used to be. Unfortunately, I haven’t been recently enough to judge for myself .
