I think I am pissed about this
But as many of you know I tend to over-react to things. Absolute Poker sent me an e-mail with a deposit bonus attached and it was actually a pretty nice deal so I responded and asked how long it was good for. I have said on here that I am playing on a tight bankroll right now and am refraining from re-depositing any additional funds till I find the leaks in my game or this bad luck streak turns around. It contained 20%, free money on top of that and free entry to two different tournaments so I placed a withdraw from Party (That is currently taking WAY to friggin long) and told the rep I would make a deopsit as soon as I get my withdraw from Party if the bonus was still good.
He e-mailed me again about it adn I AGAIN told him as soon as I get my withdraw I would make the deposit. About a half hour ago he called my house and talked with my wife. I think I am kinda pissed about this. My wife knows about my card playing and sports gambling so it's not causing me a problem, but WTF? Not sure I am gonna play there again because of this, that and Party is dragging it's feet on my withdraw (again WTF?) Am I over-reacting or was this guy out of line?

I once had someone called me when I played on a blackjack site clearing a bonus and told me I had a freeroll to a slot machine tournament. I never played it but they called and told me about it.
So I dont see a big deal with it... they were just calling and reminding you, maybe thinking you forgot since you havent deposited yet. |

Don't give them your phone number if you don't want them to call.
I wouldn't like it either, but I'm sure (well, I suspect) it's in the terms that you accepted when you signed up to play on their site. |
