Things to reread after a while...
I would like this thread to be about previous posts that helps you remind yourself to play your A game while playing. So mostly this is just dealing with the whole notion of variance, or what we all subject ourselves to consciously or subconsciously when we do "run bad". I'll just throw a link to the whole post (some quite long) with an excerpt in block quotes.

awesome idea. u took all the ones I'm familiar with but I'll have to re-read them soon. I'm regrinding from a 25k roll online. My plan this year is to reduce some variance and not move up in limits quite as fast.

OK I'll add two more. One more is a psychology related thread from Phil Galfond and another is just some random insaneness about the first person perspective of Joey vs. some middle limit hold em posters back on 2p2 many years ago that is quite funny (read the thread for the back story).
