Default WSOP Main Event Final Table

Thoughts on the broadcast last night? Thoughts on the play at the final table (well, at least what we saw if it)? Thoughts on the winner?

I will say that I thought the setting was pretty cool, stadium poker FTW!

Am only partially through watching it right now, but I was disappointed they didn't show Kelly Kim's bustout hand. Thought it was kinda odd to not show the whole hand, just him shaking everyones hands, thought it was lame.

I thought the coverage could've been better - I'd rather see more hands for sure. Once it got HU we got to see just 2 hands I think!!!

As for the play - bit of a mix, pretty much what I expected I guess. It's hard to know what's a really bad play vs. just bad timing because we don't get any sense of the flow of the game.

I am just glad they showed the 1 out hand, and the 1 out was only good when the board paired. God that was so sexy IMO.

Canada, wtf? Fat guys in striped shirts? Really? He had 4 months to pick a shirt and he picked that striped shirt? Vertical stripes are slimming, but if that bothers you, you got 4 months, loses some weight or just roll with it. Sad choice when he went for option C, being a chubby guy in an ugly shirt.

IMO the two best players at the table finished 1-2. Chino going to the mat with JJ shortly after (it seemed) he increased his stack was bad.

Being able to compare the play we saw to the commentary in the preview segment was cool. Evelyn Ng was right about Chino. He tried to be patient but just couldn't do it. Hellmuth was right on about Montgomerie being an all-in guy who might implode.

I just wish that they'd have ended the show with Phil saying "Idiot from Northern Europe" after the kid won.

I thought that the whole experience in a theater like atmosphere was pretty sweet...last hand was a bad beat but good win for Eastgate.
