I was wondering if anyone read more of this book. I recall the reviews about a month ago, but haven't heard anything since. I was thinking of ordering it but is it worth it? I heard the no-limit section is almost identical to the first one.

Reviews are mixed. Both tends to lean towards not as good as the first. At least according to the reviews I have read.

I think it's great, but I am of the mindset that if you learn ONE thing from a poker book, it was worth reading.

I haven't finished it yet, but from what I've read so far, it's been great. It may not have as huge an impact on the poker world as the first book did, now that there are so many other good books available, but it's still worth picking up.

I finally have and Sklansky's on the way... looking forward to reading those next.

I bought it anyway, mostly out of curiosity. I want to read Negreanu's section on lowball. I wonder if his theories can be applied to other games.

I really think you'll enjoy both Sklansky and Harrington's books. I've read them both and they're terrific. I would recommend them to anyone.

not sure if ill get it - got the first one and think thats a great book, im a little reluctant to shell out money for the 2nd, particularly as i dont play stud, omaha etc

saw doyle on the tv the other day talking about it - saying how after the first book did so well he had to totally change his whole style
