Default All-in Etiquette

This applies to no re-buy tournies only.

If a player goes all-in and is called by two or more players, is there an etiquette to check the hand to the river?

I've seen hands where one player bets bit to isolate the All-in player and then loses the hand and doubles, or triples up the All-in player. If the bettor had checked it down, someone else would have won and the All-in would have been eliminated.

I just folded the winner in a 90 player sng with that exact situation when I had the winner.

This is like a ongoing debate online for the longest time, my personal opinion is bet if you want I dont care. I hate when people do this shit like 10+ from the money but I guess on a money bubble I could kind of understand it but still wouldnt be pissed if someone bet. You pay to be in the pot your intitled to bet if you want.

If you are sure you have the best hand and want to protect it, bet. Don't bet a marginal hand, and don't fucking bluff. Check it down in those situations to see if one of you can beat him. It's not etiquette, it's common sense if the player's think about it.

Yeah, just came back to clarify on my end, "Don't bluff into the dry side of a pot." Size of side pot may effect it otherwise.

bluffing into a dry sidepot is just retarted anyways but if the sidepot is large enough to benefit u, why not bet into it? its just like winning anyother pot.

the only times i really just try to check it down fast is if we are on the bubble and i really want the all in guy gone, so more people in the hand the better chance for him to lose.
