Done fishin'
Okay, I know I'm a newbie myself, but targeting that one guy really worked.
I got dealt KT and flopped a K, and ended up with a set to win my first big hand. Then a couple of hands later I was dealt KQ and won with a pair of queens with a king kicker (he had a pair of queens). Once I got AK and flopped two more A's. On the very next hand I drew an A-T straight. Great cards. But as soon as the "I play every hand" guy left, the table started clearing out... we were down to two of us within a few minutes. No surprise! MathBabe |

Hey newbie: FYI......... a "set" is three of a kind when you have two of them in your hand (a pocket pair). Otherwise, it's "trips."
The reason they have different names is because a set is obviously a much stronger hand than trips... |

I stand corrected. Thanks - no need for the rest of the world to know I'm still wet behind the ears! I think I know who's going down first on Sunday...
The funny thing is - I read the difference the other day, but they didn't explicitly point out why it mattered, so it didn't stick in my head. MathBabe |
