Default I'm taking on a new protege.

I've decided to take on a new protege. Rather than taking applications like I have done previously I've decided to hold a tournament where the winner will become my new protege. This tournament will be held somewhere between the end of July and middle of August. A date will be announced in the coming weeks.

Unlike my agreements with my current students I will not take a % of your winnings or require that you give me first option on your action(although if you plan to sell your action I would like it if you would allow me to back it or at least a decent portion of it.). If you don't have great stats and wouldnt normally be chosen, this is your opportunity to become my protege. If you do have great stats and would likely be chosen this is your opportunity to take your game to the next level at no cost to you!

Here's what you can expect to receive from me:
I will spend time every week working with you on your mtt game. I will spend time teaching you mtt's strategies, ghosting you, allowing you to ghost me, and generally helping to make you one of the sickest mtt players on the planet.

My commitment to each of the people I am mentoring is at least one hour a week(on avg.) of them shadowing me playing, me shadowing them, them coming to classes I teach(which are included free) or spending time talking through poker theory

So you ask.....what's the catch???????
The only catch is that the protege tournament will only be open to members of pokerpwnage.com. You must be a member prior to and on the date of the tournament to be eligible to win a spot as my protege.

I currently have 3 students/protege's at this time:
Terrellk11, Iwinwith22, and In_da_riva(starting after WSOP ends).

Previous to that the people I coached are:
Chomper4(50+ FT's so far this year. Which is around one per day he has played if I am estimating right.)
Ma77th3gr34t(FTOPS win for $100k+)
Coronababy
Que1620
AndyG
and others.

I'm sure my previous students will be happy to tell you more about how I have been able to help thier game(s).

Please feel free to post comments/questions in this thread.

I don't think that number is surprising for a good online player who puts in a lot of volume.

a final table Every day??? I think only way that's possible is if the fields r all really small but honestly that sounds just ridiculous to me.

Hersh i assume plays alot and says he only has 110 since Aug 05.

It's June now....~160 days have gone by this year.

50 FT's for the year would make it 1 in 3.

Should've read the catch before I got myself excited.

will probably invest in a training site by the end of the summer, and it might be herschel's, but not sure if ill be able to afford it by the time this thing runs.

hopefully i keep running/playing well and can afford this sooner than I expect
