FTP T$ question

Ok, I haven't been playing lately, but I'm getting back in it. I noticed after ftp updated, there is now T$... How is this different than tokens? How are T$ earned? I know Stars has T$, but I've hardly played at all on Stars.

If you win a sattelite into a tourney you can unregister and get the T$. You can then convert the T$ into real cash. Of course FTP takes another cut of the money then. Of course you can use all the T$ to buyin to tournies and I imagine sng's as well.
