Default Why I never give people enough credit...

When people talk about how hard the games have gotten lately, and how there are "regulars" at $25 NL capable of playing back at them, and when shabi says "This isn't 2005" when talking about $100 NL, and how ABC poker isn't enough any more, etc, etc, etc..... It's crap like this (below) that makes me think everyone is crazy.

I see this shit (and dare I say worse) all the time. And this is at a $200 HU SNG - not exactly penny stakes. I mean, what in the hell is this?

Granted, there are lots of good players out there, but I see so many horrible ones that I honestly believe good (not necessarily great) players should still be able to make decent money playing online without too much trouble. Hell, I think an *average* player could make money if he's smart with game selection.

Full Tilt Tournament game, buy-in $200 + 10 Heads Up Sit & Go (46315159), $10/$20 No Limit, 2 players

He was planning on taking it away on the river from your JJ, but then you hit!

Nice theory, but wouldn't that still have worked? If he's representing and Ace, JJ is still no good.

I honestly think his thought process went like this:

Preflop:
"Limp because I always do."
Call Raise - "Maybe I'll flop a straight and stack him!"

Flop:
"Ohh.... I can make a straight OR a flush! Sure, I'll call for 90."

Turn:
{OK, I have trouble with this one. Maybe...}
"He's totally bluffing. I'll call and hope for the chop, since there is no card that can come that would improve my hand to better than playing the board."

River:
"Ha! I knew he was bluffing! But I better check behind, just in case he has an A, K, Q, J, 6 or PP 77+."

Yeah, I have no idea.
