Reno Poker
Hello all,
I'll be going to Reno on the 17th-21st for a school trip. I probably won't have a whole lot of time to play poker, but I will still have a decent amount of time to do whatever I want. I was looking at pokerinreno.com, but I'm not sure how outdated it is. Any advice on what poker rooms are the best? I'm looking for either 2/4 or 3/6 holdem b/c i cant afford to lose too much. thanks in advance! this will be my first time in the west and I am quite excited. if anyones gonna be in the area during that time I'd love to meet up for some drinks/poker. |

The best place to be at in Reno is by far The Peppermill. They have a nice smoke free poker room and the casino is very clean, the sports bar is by far one of the best casino sports bar's ive been in. be sure to try the New York Deli if there.
If you open up a players card at Peppermill they will automatically credit your account with $100. Check it out..Let me know next time you go.

This one is more than twice the distance from my hotel than some of the other casinos.
Is it worth the extra cab fare, and any idea how much a cab should cost from the University Of Nevada Reno to the Peppermill? |

I stayed at the grand sierra. The WPT was there and they never had more than one 1-2NL or 4-8L game going at one time. That was even fri-sat night. Would not recommend this one for poker.
