Won a WSOP package!
So far played 3 DS, and final table one to cash in $450. Today, decided to play a 30+3 rebuy for the first time and took it down!
I went on a rush near the end of the tourney and caught ppl bluffing. So sweet....taking the cash....but if I win another package...I'll probably play it. |

So do you only get the 10K buyin? and not the 2500 cash/travel? either way its great, but I wonder if you might consider playing in it and selling shares or w/e?? Thats alot of $ to give up. Way to go!! congrats again!

Great score. Why aren't you going to play though?
EDIT: after about 10 minutes, I answered my own question. If I won a package, there are a number of things that would absorb 5k really quickly. BTW, anyone have a good racing bike they want to off-load cheap?

Thanks all. I got $2500 cash right away, and Stars adds $10k cash to your account after a few days.
I'm too much of a nit to gamble 10k. I know I would probably be better than 75% of the field at the main event, but my chances to make the money or go deep is pretty slim. And I seriously don't think I would be able to sell enough of myself to make it worth the hassle. I don't know, I'll probably play more qualifiers and if I win another package, will probably use the W$ for this event, since I would get an upgraded room from stars for being a Supernova. |

Congratulations! There is absolutly NO doubt in my mind..I would take the package. Once in a lifetime event for me.

Woot! Way to go!
And for the record, given the choice, I'd take the money too. I may or may not keep most/all of it in my poker bankroll (you gotta buy yourself SOMETHING cool), but I'd personally rather play 10 $1000 tourneys that one $10k tourney. |
