I finished second, which is a really good result for me - but I defeated Kurn in round 2, and that I consider to be a true highlight.

majQa' You really didn't let me get away with much of anything. I think I did once manage to 3-bet you preflop with 73o and get you to fold, but that was the high point for me. I was never really sure that I had you on the defensive and that put me there instead.

I have to agree with Kurn, De-coder played really well in our semi round match. I was trying to determine what he had and was never really sure, for the most part, which put me on the defensive way to much. Well played DC and congrats to you jillaj.

I never felt comfortable the whole time really, so it's interesting to hear you say that you felt on the defensive. I don't play HU at all and have only been HU a few times in tourney's so I was really working hard at it. I had a really good time too, so I may be trying it again soon.

Thanks. Overall I was really happy with the way I played. With my lack of short-handed experience, and zero HU experience I figured to not be a favourite, but I think that just made me work harder at it and I turned out to be making really good decisions.
Thanks again - it's great feedback. |
