That shove on the first hand is a lot better than we have been seeing. Well Played. Oh, the second hand, fold Preflop. (OBVIOUSLY KIDDING)

Was taught by the best.(hehe)
I have a question. If I find myself a little above the 10 x BB mark, BB and hold (let's say) JQo, I'm 3/6; there is a low stack who shoves & 1/6 High stack player shoves his chips in first, would it be wise to fold or call? |

Fold. The general rule, called the GAP concept (I'll post it later) is that you should be shoving about 83% of your hands and calling with about 23%. I know my numbers are off, but basically if there is an all in and a call in front of you, fold everything but premiums.

I was questioning myself even though I knew I made the correct fold, but after I saw the flop, it kind of stung a bit.

Oh yea, thats a very easy fold, you guys aren't evne THAT short you, you all still have about 10bb, there is still play left. It was a good fold. Once the big stack callse, you are pretty much done, even if he doesn't call, i still think its a fold, its close but its still a fold.

God Dammit, bunny. How many more times are we going to have to read comments like this? I mean, it's literally been YEARS and you still REFUSE to not be 100% results oriented.
Why why why why why??? And yes, I see that you said you knew you played it correctly and that seeing the flop "stung" (you usually say it made you "question yourself"), so this isn't as bad as your usual.... but still: THE FLOP RESULTS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PREFLOP DECISION! |

R and RR in front there is no question with QJ. Would you question yourself if you folded 82o and the flop came 3 2s (in any hand/situation, not this one)? Same thing here as QJ in that spot.
Good fold. Next hand. Listen to music while you play (or watch bunnies mating on the Discovery channel, or whatever turns bunnies on).

*see bold*
Although, I made that comment (which was really an afterthought at most) I didn't hesitate to fold JQ immediately. I knew it was wrong to play it...*I should seriously stop posting my thoughts*. Love your suggestion, by the way. Now where is that song Shabi dedicated to me? Last edited by bunny; 11-19-07 at 02:45 PM. |
