Just so no one does the same idiotic thing as I did I'll just tell people my little tale of staking akajeff.
I staked akajeff to play solely $33 sngs. Agreement was made yesterday that he'd solely play that and I'd give him a 500 bankroll. Just in case he did something retarded I only gave him 250 and if he busted that solely from 33s, I'd give him the other 250. Well, he did something retarded. I talked to him over MSN, and every time we talked he kept asking me for more money playing different things. Alarm bells were going off (especially after reading that why full tilt why thread) but he kept lying and saying he still had 217 left. Keep talking to him, and he asks me to stake him for 2/4 NL, mtts, and like 80 other things all of which I tell him no, keep playing the 33s. Finally, I say fine, play the nightly hundred grand with what is left of our stake. He finally tells me it is gone because he sat with the 217 at a 2/4 table right after that why full tilt why thread. So yeah, don't stake akajeff or give him any money. |

Yah...basically Im a fucking idiot and I suck at poker and life.
I apologize to Storm, ( you can ban me if you'd like) but you can count on this...When I have 217$ on stars to spare, I will send you you it back Storm. Congrats and GL to all you winning players. Im sry. |

Just found out from a friend online that this akaJeff guy got banned from another forum im part of for begging for money and scamming. Wish I would of been around when all this started so I could of given you guys advance warning.
im talking to my friend on instant messenger now and showed him this thread and right away he recognized the name. |

lol..i know i havent been on this forum in a bit, but every time i stop by, something like this happens around here it seems...
do the ppl here get taken in easily or is this the congregation of the most forgiving/turn-the-other-cheek poker players or what is going on? i vaguely recall it all started oh so long ago when someone with senior forum standing had leaked a freeroll pw or something and got totally forgiven for it...then later on someone else had hacked into someone else's online acct and they too i think were forgiven or something like that... anyway no shortage of drama around here, thats for sure. i should drop in more often.

You're right about the drama, but I'm not so sure about the forgiveness. I mean, in time Chip was forgiven for the password leaking, but the guy who hacked into Aeq's account was instabanned and never allowed back. Bet welchers have been banned and forgiven when they made good on their bets. And the douchebag in question is currently banned right now. If he pays people back what he owes them, I'll unban him, but I doubt he'll get staked any time soon.
You're probably thinkinf of Brian. He's the king of needing (and getting) forgiveness, but he's never done anything to hurt anyone - he's just acted like an uber idiot 8 or 10 times. |
